Owner's words (2026-10-29)
"I noticed issues. The homescreen ratings are not changed. I still see stars there, but movie pages show the new ratings. Also, an individual episode for desparate housewives (s05e01) only shows a star, this does not seem to have changed either. Make sure we're changing all the old ratings from jellyfin to our pwa sources. try to make sure the design is unified and dry."
Outcome
Every place Wolfskin TV still shows a Jellyfin rating (home focused-item header, collection headers, series, season and episode pages, cards, anything else found) moves to the same sources the phone app (PWA) uses (Seerr: Rotten Tomatoes critics and audience, IMDb for movies, TMDB), rendered by ONE shared rating component so every surface looks the same. Where the PWA has no rating for a thing (for example per episode), the TV mirrors exactly what the PWA shows there instead of falling back to the Jellyfin star. The earlier blocker (home rows carry no TMDB id) gets a real fix (resolve the id from the item's provider ids), not an exception.
Follow-up of
#23 (first change: movie and series details and Discover headers; released as 1.0.9-25-g853a3989).
Plan
Same flow as before: before/after captures of each surface for the owner, one review round, merge on green, then stage the release and stop; publishing needs his word.
Same-screen before and after for every surface changed by #26 (same title and data, real composables rendered at 1920x1080, not a photo of the TV). Ratings now come from the phone app's sources everywhere; episodes and seasons show their series' ratings (the phone app shows the series ratings in the episode context); surfaces with no phone-app equivalent (collections, music, photos, TV guide) show no rating. The old Jellyfin star is gone entirely, including as a fallback: if Seerr is not set up, no rating shows.

Per-episode TMDB badge (your go on 2026-10-29): each episode now also shows its OWN TMDB score from Seerr's season data, as a labelled badge (TMDB logo plus 'Ep 8.1') next to the series' Rotten Tomatoes badges, so it cannot be mistaken for the series score. Before = the version you installed (series ratings only), After = with the episode badge. Same title and data, real composables at 1920x1080 (not a photo of the TV). PR: #26

Final proof set for the ratings-everywhere release (the owner accepted rendered captures: no ADB, no TV install). Rendered from the final PR 26 head
85365aa3(merged to wolfskin main as6bb382a1; the merge commit changes no code) with the app's real header composables at 1920x1080, same title and data on every surface. Ratings everywhere now come from the phone app's sources through one shared row; the Jellyfin star is gone; seasons and episodes show the series' Rotten Tomatoes badges, and the episode page and focused episode also show the episode's own labelled TMDB badge; collections, music and photos draw no rating, as the phone app has none there.Home screen, focused movie

Justin updates through the in-app updater.Justin, 2026-10-29: "I already updated wolfskin on the tv, the ratings looked good". So the in-app update to 1.0.9-28-g6bb382a1 (release https://git.justinvisser.org/justinzeus/wolfskin/releases/tag/pwolfskin-2026_10_29_1) is installed and the ratings are confirmed on the real TV.
